Ukraine: Songs for Vidbir 2024 released

Ukrainian broadcaster UA:PBC has released the songs for Vidbir 2024. Vidbir 2024 will select the Ukrainian artist and song for the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 in Malmö.

11 artists and songs have been selected by Ukrainian national broadcaster UA:PBC to compete in the next Vidbir in Ukraine. One of them will represent Ukraine at Eurovision 2024.

The final show of Vidbir 2024 will take place on 3 February 2024. As in previous years, the winner will be determined by public and jury voting. Ukrainians will choose the jury for the final by online voting.

Ukraine in Eurovision

Ukraine is one of the most successful countries in the Eurovision Song Contest.

Out of 18 appearances, Ukraine has:

• Three victories:
  • 2022 (Kalush Orchestra: "Stefania")
  • 2016 (Jamala: "1944")
  • 2004 (Ruslana: "Wild Dances")
• Two 2nd place finishes: 2007 and 2008
• Qualified for the final: 17 out of 17 times!
