Denmark: Anti Social Media wins Melodi Grand Prix 2015
The first nordic country has selected a song for Vienna. Anti Social Media wins the Danish selection "Melodi Grand Prix 2015" with the song "The Way You Are". They will represent Denmark at Eurovision Song Contest 2015
The dream is alive! At least for the group "Anti Social Media" who just won the Danish "Melodi Grand Prix" with the song "The Way You Are". Anti Social Media will represent Denmark at Eurovision Song Contest 2015 in Vienna, where they will perform in semi-final 1 (2nd half) on 19 May 2015. The song is written by Remee (Germany 2007, Denmark 2012) and Chief 1 (Denmark 1997, Denmark 2012). The winner was decided by a mix of 50% televoting and 50% votes of regional juries. The juries placed Anti Social Media first in total, while the televoting only gave them second-most points. The televoters had Anne Gadegaard as winner.
Denmark is the first nordic country and the 12th country to select their act for Eurovision Song Contest 2015.

Anti Social Media
The band Anti Social Media is a new band created on the initiative of the songwriter and the producer Remee and Chief 1. The band members are:
- Philip Thornhill, 19 (vocalist)
- Nikolaj Tøth Andersen, 19 (guitar)
- David Rønne Vang, 25 (bass)
- Emil Vissing Christensen, 24 (drums).
Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2015
This years Danish selection took place on 7 February live from Gigantium in Aalborg with the slogan "The Dream is Alive". It was broadcasted live on DR. Hosts were Esben Bjerre and Jacob Riising. The winner was decided by televoting and five regional expert-juries with equal weight. Each regional jury awarded the songs with points from 1 to 8, 10 & 12. A total of 290 points. The televoting had 290 points in total to give to the songs, distributed by the percentage of votes each song got from the televoting.

Denmark has been participating in Eurovision Song Contest 43 times. Since its debut in 1957, Denmark has won the contest 3 times:

Worst result was in 2002 (last). Since the introduction of the Semi-finals in Eurovision in 2004, Denmark has qualified for the Grand Final 9 out of 11 times.
