Contest Producer Karin Gunnarsson from SVT has the responsibility of selecting all the acts for Melodifestivalen 2023:

– Being able to present a lineup that includes both the Eurovision winner Loreen and the EPA phenomenon Elov & Beny feels fantastically fun. Here, well-known artists who have made an impression on the program in the past come together with artists who may be debutants in Melodifestivalen but who have achieved great success even outside Sweden's borders.

– In the competition, of course, there are also a bunch of exciting newcomers with strong voices and expressions that will both surprise and impress. In Melodifestivalen, anything can happen! says Karin Gunnarsson.
